Refund Policy – Book My Tourism

At Book My Tourism, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for bookings made through our platform for accommodations, tours, or other travel-related services.
1. General Refund Guidelines
All refund requests are processed based on the cancellation policy of the individual property or service provider selected at the time of booking. These policies are clearly displayed during the checkout process and in your booking confirmation email.
2. Cancellation Windows
Refund eligibility typically depends on how far in advance you cancel your booking:
- Free Cancellation: Most standard bookings allow full refunds if cancelled 48 to 72 hours before check-in or service date.
- Partial Refund: Cancellations made within the 24–48 hour window prior to check-in may receive a partial refund, subject to the property’s discretion.
- Non-Refundable Bookings: Rates marked as “Non-Refundable” will not be eligible for any refund, even in the case of early departure or no-show.
3. No-Shows and Early Departures
No-shows (failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice) will be charged the full amount of the booking.
Early departures are generally not eligible for refunds unless explicitly stated by the property.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Log in to your account on Book My Tourism.
- Go to “My Bookings” and select the relevant reservation.
- Click “Cancel Booking” and follow the prompts.
If the option is not available, email us at support@bookmytourism.com with your booking ID and reason for cancellation.
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The time it takes for funds to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
6. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or other unforeseeable events (force majeure), we will work with property partners to offer flexible rebooking options or partial/full refunds where possible. However, this is not guaranteed and is assessed case by case.
7. Non-Refundable Components
Certain fees—such as booking processing fees, third-party insurance premiums, or city taxes—may be non-refundable even if the main booking is cancelled within the free window.
